Ephyaltes was a former noble human and a cleric. After he succumbed to the demonic curruption and helped with the ritual to open the rift to the mortal Realms, the Gods cursed him and banished him to the Underworld. He now hates everything good and his evil in his soul is depicted in his appearance.
