The Maidens are seasoned warriors who have sworn not to bond with any of the Blood Tooth warriors until they have slaughtered enough dwarves. Naturally, the more, the more glory Maiden can get. Since mathematics is not the Ogres strongest point, sometimes mistakes are made when counting the victims. Which often leads to bloody deciding on the actual score between competing Maidens.
